The only part of the tour you miss is the 500km drive home and you get a nice aerial view of Uluru. For those travellers in a hurry, who on Day 3, have a cheap Virgin Blue Flight from Ayers Rock to Sydney or a cheap Qantas Flight from Ayers Rock to Sydney, Cairns, Melbourne or Perth. You only need 4 days off for this itinerary and need 1 nights accommodation in Alice Springs before the tour. Itinerary 3. "Rock Pick Up Itinerary"...Ayers Rock to Alice Springs. If you fly into Ayers Rock Airport, enjoy the aerial view of Uluru and we will pick you up from Ayers Rock Airport or the Ayers Rock Resort just after 12:00pm on Day 1.
